I was born and raised in Germany and have since lived in Ecuador (near Quito), the UK (London) and the United States (New York).
Before coming to Columbia, I received my B.Sc (First Class Honours) from the London School of Economics where I studied Government and Economics. I have also worked in investment banking and in German politics.
In my free time, I love to make music (I sing and I play the violin). I’ve also been called a living counter-example to the truism that Germans don’t enjoy good food.
